Glow in the Dark Dinosaurs...

I recently got thinking about how crazy and far out some band names can be.. It's like a contest to see who can come up with the most far out, hard to explain title. I am gonna list a few just for fun, With country you have The Band Perry and Rascal Flatts, you have individual artists who go by their normal names names like Brad Paisley, Garth Brookes etc. Then you have rock. Relient K, Skillet, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd Anberlin, Twin Atlantic, Stellar Kart. Relient K is named after a car. Don't even ask me where Skillet got it's name. Then we come to Metal. This one kinda scares me sometimes. August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada, Signal the Firing Squad, Snow White's Poison Bite... Indie music is my favorite. Weathervanes, Tallest Man on Earth, Animal Collective, fun., Vampire Weekend, The Mountain Goats, Frightened Rabbits, Fleet Foxes, We read minds. I guess music is all about expressing yourself, So that includes the name you are known by. :)
